Do you need more listening practice? If so, I might be your guy!!! 😇. I’m a university and DELTA-qualified English teacher from the Czech Republic with more than 10 years of experience teaching English to foreigners in the Czech Republic as well as the United Kingdom. 🤓. Listening to podcasts is part of my own daily routine because I believe that regular listening is a must for every committed English learner 💪. In my podcasts, you may follow my English learning journey as I interview my friends, students, and interesting people from all around the world 🌍. A lot of my episodes feature native English speakers. Most famously, there are about 10 episodes with Luke Thompson from Luke’s English Podcast who has been my primary source of inspiration 😎. I also have episodes in which I describe my experiences of taking CELTA and DELTA courses, as well as IELTS exam. You will probably find some silly episodes in the archive, too, as I sometimes just want to have fun 😃. In this podcast, I talk to HUGH DELLAR, an English teacher, teacher trainer, materials writer, and a well-known proponent of the Lexical Approach in the world of English teaching.
Most interviews Hugh does are about the Lexical approach, but he's also very vocal regarding the current conflict in Ukraine and that's what this episode is mainly about.
